By Glynn Wilson –

Let’s be clear. Donald J. Trump is a traitor and a crook. He should be indicted, arrested and removed from the White House immediately.

Trump is clearly guilty of criminal conduct for colluding with Russia during the 2016 presidential election and violating campaign finance laws by paying off two mistresses during the campaign, according to legal documents filed on Friday. The only questions that remain are if and when “Individual-1” a.k.a. President Donald Trump, will be indicted, arrested and removed from office in the White House.

In recommending a stiff prison sentence for Trump’s campaign manager Paul Manafort, who lied to FBI investigators and engaged in a criminal conspiracy to obstruct justice by trying to hide his contacts with Russians during the campaign, Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller III filed and released a court document on Friday detailing Manafort’s breach of a plea agreement by making false statements.

While much of the document is redacted for public consumption, it backs up what we have already known for months. Manafort was a key contact with the Trump campaign who directly colluded with Russia to help Trump win the election, which they did by hacking and releasing Democratic Party emails and spending tens of thousands of dollars on dark money social media ads, trolls and bots to split the Democratic Party by painting Hillary Clinton as a crook and a liar who couldn’t be trusted.

Trump and his company wanted to keep alive an ongoing plan to build a Trump hotel in Moscow and Russia wanted to gain favorable negotiations with the United States to lift economic sanctions.

In the other significant document dump on Friday, Robert Khuzami, the acting U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, recommended a significant prison sentence for former Trump lawyer-fixer Michael Cohen. He is charged with willful tax evasion, making false statements to financial institutions and Congress, and making illegal campaign contributions on the part of the Trump campaign in the form of payments to porn star Stormy Daniels and Playboy model Karen McDougal.

While Trump and his White House staff, campaign team and family members have denied collusion with Russia, affairs of a sexual nature with women or illegal campaign contributions, Democrats seized on the news on Friday to issue damning statements about a sitting president.

“These legal documents outline serious and criminal wrongdoing, including felony violations of campaign finance laws at the direction of President Trump,” California Senator Diane Feinstein said in a statement.

Legal experts who have analyzed the documents say they show that Mr. Trump knows more than he has claimed about Russian collusion and paying off women with whom he had affairs.

“In total, the prosecutors seem to be saying the president was more aware than he has claimed to be,” former federal prosecutor Michael Zeldin told Reuters.

The document charges that Cohen made the hush money payments in “coordination with” and at “the direction of” Person 1, who is clearly Mr. Trump. He is at this point seen as an unindicted co-conspirator.

Mr. Trump and his White House staff continue to lie to the American public via Twitter and the White House press office.

Trump accused federal investigators and senior officials of having conflicts of interest in new tweets on Friday, without offering any evidence. Then, White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders called Cohen a liar and dismissed the filings as insignificant.

“The government’s filings in Mr. Cohen’s case tell us nothing of value that wasn’t already known,” Sanders said.

Yet Cohen has admitted to lying to congressional investigators to minimize his efforts to secure the Kremlin’s help for a Trump skyscraper in Moscow. He said he did it to remain loyal to Trump’s political messaging at the time. And he admitted to direct contacts with Trump in the White House while preparing to testify.

Cohen repeated his false statements about the project in his first meeting with the special counsel’s office, Mueller said, only admitting the truth in a later meeting in September after he had pleaded guilty to separate charges in New York.

Cohen’s false statements to Congress had “obscured the fact” that the skyscraper project held the potential to reap “hundreds of millions of dollars from Russian sources” for the Trump Organization, Mueller said. Discussions about the potential Moscow development were relevant to the investigation because they happened “at a time of sustained efforts by the Russian government to interfere with the U.S. presidential election.”

In addition to coming clean on the Moscow project, Cohen provided information about several attempts by Russians to contact the Trump campaign. Cohen spoke with a Russian national in November 2015 who said he could offer the campaign “political synergy” with Russia and repeatedly proposed a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Cohen had provided “relevant and useful information concerning his contacts with persons connected to the White House” in 2017 and 2018, Mueller says.

The special counsel also details lies told by Paul Manafort during interviews with prosecutors and the FBI. The report says Manafort told “multiple discernible lies,” including making false statements about his communications with a political consultant with ties to Russian intelligence, and false statements about his contacts with Trump administration officials.

Prosecutors in the Cohen cases submitted separate memos to U.S. District Judge William Pauley in Manhattan. He is scheduled to decide on Cohen’s sentence Dec. 12.

What will it take? What if Trump’s approval rating fell below 30 percent and activists surrounded the White House demanding his immediate resignation?

Here is the real problem, or as Archie Bunker once said on “All in the Family:” DON’T CONFUSE ME WITH FACTS. DJT has been given a license by the elected GOP in Congress to do anything he wants and to crush his perceived enemies like members of the press, opposition, Kathy Griffin, etc. But his real support comes from the religious right-from their own publications view DJT as “flawed” but assigned by “god” during this time period to bring about the final battle between “good” and “evil”-which is one reason religion should never be allowed into politics. This religious right also has written “god” has stated ‘climate change could never occur by man as only “god” has that power. These are dangerous people and have affected foreign and domestic policies. I know they don’t view themselves as evil or misguided, but they are.
